Glasgow’s Riverside Museum is set to stage an exhibition celebrating inventor James Watt in 2019.
The announcement was made as the Museum took the collection of an impressive Tesla electric car. It will be part of the Watt exhibition.
Neil Johnson-Symington of Glasgow Life, which runs the Museum, said: “Plans are underway for an exciting multi-disciplinary display of objects from Glasgow Museums’ collections which share James Watt’s inventive and pioneering spirit.
“Some of our most recent acquisitions – including the Tesla Model S – will be presented within various different themes, such as ingenious transport and technology, and our fragile environment. The new display is being planned for Autumn 2019.”
