A site describing itself as “Britain’s finest Victorian Waterworks” is hosting a “Steampunk Weekend” on July 14 and 15.

Papplewick Pumping Station in Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire, hosts two massive beam pumping engines, thought to be the last built by James Watt & Co.

The site is hosting a special “Steampunk” event featuring stalls, tours, music, and dancing – and even “facial hair” competitions.

You can find out more on the pumping station’s website.
