A special event to inspire a new generation of James Watts will be held in Greenock next month.

One of Scotland’s most accomplished businessmen – Jim McColl, chief executive of Clyde Blowers Capital – will talk about his career at the town’s Customs House on August 29, from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event has been organised by Entrepreneurial Scotland in partnership with Riverside Inverclyde.

Andrew Bowman, head of business investment and operations with Riverside Inverclyde, said: “Inverclyde has a proud tradition of entrepreneurship, with James Watt our finest example, and we are sure this event will support further entrepreneurial growth within our business community.”

Entrepreneurs interested in attending the event should contact Mr Bowman on andrewb@riversideinverclyde.com.
