The Scots university which was named after James Watt is recruiting architects to design the UK’s National Robotarium.

Heriot-Watt Universary says the centre will be “the UK’s leading innovation hub for the practical application of robotics and autonomous systems”. See the tender here

The hub will be based at the University’s Riccarton Campus, on the western outskirts of Edinburgh.

The National Robotarium will build on the existing Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, a £35 million joint venture between Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh.
