The National Library of Scotland has shared a 1959 film about inventor James Watt.
You can watch the full film – running for 17 minutes – on the NLS website.
The film includes shots of Watt’s hometown of Greenock, his reconstructed workshop at London’s Science Museum and models showing his inventions.
The movie was made by Thames and Clyde and sponsored by Education Films of Scotland.
