Industrial museums across Scotland will be celebrating the genius of James Watt this August.
Twelve institutions, under the banner of “Go Industrial”, are coming together to celebrate Watt and all things innovative during their Go Industrial Day 2019 on Sunday, August 25.
The date will be the 200th anniversary of the death of James Watt.
Emma Halford-Forbes from Go Industrial/Industrial Museums Scotland said: “We’ll be stoking steam, peeping whistles and celebrating the master of innovation, James Watt. Join us throughout the day online and in our venues across Scotland. See our website for full details of Watt’s happening at a Go Industrial venue.”
