The Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh is hosting a free lunchtime talk on at aesthetics of James Watt’s technical drawings.
The event will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 12.45 p.m.
Helen Smailes from National Galleries of Scotland says: “The Scottish National Portrait Gallery, the venue for this event, holds important portraits of Watt – some of which are featured in recorded interviews on the Watt website.
“He is also prominently represented in the processional frieze of great historic Scots in the magnificent central hall of the Portrait Gallery.”
