Free guided tours to James Watt’s cottage workshop (pictured above) at Kinneil Estate, Bo’ness, are planned as part of a free open day on Saturday, April 27.
Visitors will also be able to see inside the neighbouring Kinneil House.
The event has been organised by The Friends of Kinneil charity and Historic Environment Scotland.
All tours will leave from Kinneil Museum, starting at noon and running throughout the afternoon. The last admission will be 3.30 p.m.
The Watt Cottage tours are scheduled to take place at 12.30 p.m., 1.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. House tours will run more frequently throughout the afternoon.
Get full details from the Museum – the red-roofed building in front of Kinneil House – on the day itself.
